How the Cohort System Works
Trainees progress independently through the 29-lesson Basic Skills Course, even within a cohort. The cohort structure helps our team coordinate start dates, instructional feedback, and sponsor communication.
Each cohort is organized to ensure participants can complete the course before common hiring periods—typically ahead of the Fall or Winter academic terms. Most trainees finish within 2–3 months.
Enrollment & Sponsorship
The Basic Skills Course is available only to sponsored candidates. Sponsors—typically schools, universities, or communication-access agencies—register and pay the course fee and coordinate mentoring during the first semester of work.
