How do I change my email address or password?

To change the official email address on your account, sign in to your TypeWell account and click the User menu in the upper right corner, and then click Profile to open your Account Information page.

Click the Change Email button.

NOTE: In order to change your official email address, you will need to access to your ownership code, which is different than your account password. If you don't know your ownership code, click the link that says "I've forgotten my ownership code, email it to..." Then check your email for an automated message containing your ownership code.

If you no longer have access to the old email account and can therefore not retrieve your ownership code, just email us and we will be happy to update your info manually.

Account passwords

Access to your TypeWell account is password protected. We provide the password only to your official email address. At this time, passwords cannot be user-defined.

Once you receive your account password from us by email, please save that email and/or allow your browser to store the password for you. You can keep the password secret, or you can share it with another person whom you direct to manage your TypeWell account.

For security purposes, the password—and any changes you make to it—will be sent only to your official email address.

If you forget your password, you can retrieve it by clicking the "Forgot password?" link on the TypeWell sign-in page. If you no longer have access to your the email account associated with your TypeWell account, please contact us so we can manually update your account email address.

To change your account password

On the Change Password page, enter your ownership code and click the Generate and email new password button.



Check your email for an automated message containing your new account password. The email will come from admin[at]noreply.typewell.com and will have the subject line "TypeWell sign-in password." If you don't see that message within a minute or two, check your spam filter.
