Discounts on Pre-paid Training Seats (Basic Skills Training Package)

When an employer intends to train multiple transcriber candidates over the next 1-2 years, they can request to purchase multiple "seats" in the Basic Skills Training Package at one time.  For 3+ seats purchased at once, TypeWell offers a 10% discount, with the following terms:

• The pre-paid seats are non-refundable.
• The pre-paid seats will be honored for 1 full year (i.e. 12 months from the date of payment), even if the price of the Basic Skills Training Package increases during that year.  After 1 full year, however, the sponsor must pay the difference in price for that seat (less the 10% discount) in order to use the pre-paid seat.
• If any of the seats are not used within 1 full year (i.e., within 12 months from the date of payment), the training credit can then be converted to a software credit and/or a general training credit. Software credit can be used to pay for software subscriptions. General training credit can be used to pay for other types of TypeWell training, such as the Turbo Courselet or LEO Classes.

Example 1:  A sponsor intends to train 3 new transcribers in the next 6-12 months, so they purchase 3 seats in the Basic Skills Training Package, for which they receive a 10% discount. Within the first year, they only used 2 of those seats, as they were unable to find a qualified candidate to use the third seat. After 12 months from the date of purchase, they can convert the dollar value of that third seat to a software credit, and/or they can utilize some of that dollar value to pay for other types of training courses.

Example 2:  A sponsor intends to train 5 new transcribers sometime in the next year, so they purchase 5 seats for the Basic Skills Training Package, for which they receive a 10% discount.  Within the first year, they use 4 of those seats, but their fifth candidate has to delay their course start date. By the time the fifth candidate is ready to begin the course, the price of the Basic Skills Training Package has increased by $100.  The sponsor must pay the difference of $90 (i.e., $100 minus 10%) in order to utilize that fifth pre-paid seat.
