Monitoring

We are currently tracking the number of TypeWell users affected by the lag issue and monitoring the workarounds they are implementing. At this time, we do not have a new build or version that fully resolves the issue. Some Windows 11 users have opted to pause their updates until a fix is available.

To stay updated on our progress, please complete one of the tracking forms on this page: https://typewell.reamaze.com/articles/announcement-update-on-typewell-lag-issues

Identified

The problem was initially triggered by Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 (KB5043076), which was released in September.

NOTE: The subsequent Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5043145) – also dated 2024-09 – has been installed by multiple transcribers, who reported that it does not resolve the lagging issue.
