All of our rooms in question have built-in audio conferencing systems integrated into the room. We have found that we can dial out on this phone system to TypeWell transcribers that have included a phone number as an option to connect. But some transcribers only offer the Skype address--no telephone number is listed.
Is there a way to always dial a phone number to TypeWell transcribers so they get the benefit of good, clear audio--as well as being able to hear all of the audio that is being presented in class (other mics, computer presentation, etc.).
That’s a great question; thanks for posting it here. Yes, you can let your TypeWell service provider (i.e., the individual transcriber or their employer/company) that you prefer using phone rather than Skype, and they should be able to accommodate that. Please let us know if you still have any questions or concerns.
